The Wyoming Hunter Education Student Manual is developed for hunting students in Wyoming and approved by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department. This manual introduces you to U.S. hunting regulations and provides general information about firearm equipment, basic shooting and hunting skills, ethics and safety, survival skills, and wildlife identification.
Wyoming is the nation’s 10th largest state, and it offers vast areas of land for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department manages over 413,000 acres and grants public access to such areas as Deer Creek Canyon and the Shoshone River. In addition, the department provides access to animals ranging from antelope and bighorn sheep to mountain goats and turkeys.
