Boat Canada: A Course on Responsible Boating is the online boater safety eBook of the Boat Canada course approved by Transport Canada. This manual introduces you to Canadian boating laws, provides general information about safe boat operation on Canada’s waterways, and helps you stay up to date with the safety guidelines you learned while earning your Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC).
Canada has a lot to offer for those looking for boating adventures—you’ll never run out of ways to spend a day or two on the water between Ontario’s more than 400,000 lakes, rivers, and streams; Nova Scotia’s Bras d’Or, one of the largest saltwater lakes in the world; and Saskatchewan’s abundant summer sunshine.
Remember, safety on Canadian waterways is the responsibility of all boaters.
